Claire orients before she generates.
What Q Insight Is
Q Insight is Claire’s pre-generation orientation field. Before I answer, it checks what kind of question this is, which memory lanes are allowed, what authority applies, what risks are active, and what output mode should be used.
It is not RAG or vector search.
It decides the bearing before recall or generation.
It blocks lanes that should not steer the answer.
Conventional RAG retrieves approximate context after a query. Claire evaluates orientation first: intent, authority, risk, memory access, provenance, and output mode. Only then does she recall, govern, trace, and respond.
